us gb Saturday as well as Sunday you will be given the opportunity of getting a ride in a motorglider. The pilots will be Henrik Iversen and Erik Kjærgaard (see above). A motorglider takes off and lands exactly like any other aircraft but in addition it can soar with the engine turned off if conditions are suitable. Probably we will not do much of that. The motorglider only seats one extra person in addition to the pilot. The flying will take place at the airfield of Grenaa Flying Club some 6 kilometres from the centre (see map). We assume that the guests will manage the transportation to and from the airfield by themselves. Each flight will last approx. 20 minutes and we expect to fly approx. two flights per hour. A maximum of some 30 guests can get a ride. If the interest exceeds that we will have to prioritize the guests who have travelled the longest distance. Then we will have to give the rest of you a ride at some other occasion. You are about to receive a mail very soon where we will ask you to let us know, if you are interested. Once we have the answers we will try to put the puzzle together and assign you an approximate time slot where you are to show up at the airfield.

Please bear in mind that many things are considered force-majeaure in relation to flying: Poor weather, mechanical failure, paperwork, volcanic ash, strong crosswind to mention a few. So bear with us if we  have to cancel or we do not make it through everyone in line.
